Hello I have a problem with datacomm between two PLC's. Currently we are using MPI and SFC67 for this communication(see attachment for source code). As you see, every 150ms I am reading another block of 40bytes. This seems to work nice so far(I have read that normally only 76bytes of data can be send using SFC67 over MPI, using this trick I am readng about 94bytes), but now I want to expand the data range meaning that I want to read out 97bytes over the MPI. I have tried it in the same way I have done before but the data doesn't seem to come through. Now my question is if someone has experience with this kind of problem? Is there another solution for sending large amounts of data using MPI or is this simply the limit and I have to change the network toethernet? thx in advance, grtz, Seppe Attachmentprob.pdf (161 Downloads) |

Hello thx for the fast anwser, I have exported my project, it is in the attachment. 1) the CONT bit i am using is an allways 'OFF' merker so the communication should be terminated after each transfer. 2) The RET_VAL i am receiving from the SFC67 blocks are: #7000h (28670), #7002h(28674)and #8000h(-32768). I think these are normal values when communicating? thx for the help AttachmentTest.zip (110 Downloads) |
