Hello nandgate CP 343-1 supports Server Functionality on S7 Connections . That means that you can usenit as a Server and use GET / PUT in 315-2 PN/DP to read / write data from CPU 313C Hope this helps Cheers Navnag |

Hi nandgate Yes ! CP 343-1 Lean supports lesser functions than CP343-1 ( e.g. It does not support Profinet Controller Functionality ). But, not to worry, it supports S7 communication with Server Functionality, which is sufficient for your requirement of data exchange with CPU 315-2 PN/DP. Hope this helps Cheers Navnag |

Hi Naveen, Thanks for the reply. I need a small clarification, what does S7 Server and S7 Client mean? Thanks and regards, nandgate.
