Ethernet data exchange between S7 PLC and a PC using a c# language

NG Posts: 1 Rating: (1)	Hi, I have to realize a HMI sotfware on a PC. This HMI will be write with a c# language, and must exchange data in real-time on ethernet network with a siemens PLC S7-400. Can you tell me that I need to do this (prodave software, OPC server, Active X, .... ) ? Thank you

I think, this example fits very good to your question: Individual Visualization with OPC based on Microsoft® .NET and the Programming Language C# The only software (additional to the Microsoft Visual Studio of course) you need for this example is: SIMATIC NET IE SOFTNET-S7 (Order number: 6GK1704-1CW63-3AA0, this includes the SIMATIC NET Software, the drivers for the S7 protocol, the OPC-Server and the OPC-Wrapper for C#)
