With ProSave we can backup and Restore but to make changes is necessary to update the TIA Portal version to V14 or V15...

 Thanks for the reply. Could you please describe how to upgrade the panel from 0XA0 to 0XA1. I have TIA v15, also have the backup to HMI in a USB device. Is it possible to upload from HMI directly, then change in the model? Or there is some other method. thanks in advance.

for a change you need the original ES Project, here you can change the type.

A HMI Backup can not be used and the HMI doesn't support Upload to ES.

I have the original project of the running HMI(..-0XA0), it is designed in TIA V13. I open the project in TIA V15, and it was updated to the TIA V15 library as usual. Then I tried to compile and simulate the project with the same hardware. It runs perfectly without any error, but there are some earnings of missing tags. Next, I tried to change the device into new HMI (..- 0XA1). Well the conversion was successful, but after compiling with the new hardware some of the warnings of missing tags became error. 

Attached the picture of the old and new HMI that needs to be changed.

Any idea about the issue. Appreciate your support and time. Thanks in advance.

this new "error" was ok, this depend on the FW Version of the panel.

in older FW Versions some missing tags only reported with warning with the newer FW the tags reported as error.

So you should solve the missing tags in the panel project.

 Thanks for the reply sir. I was also thinking the same way that somehow the new device seeing the warnings as errors. I will try to resolve the missing tags. Is there is any way that I can define which error can be ignored? Appreciate your time and reply. thanks a lot..
