sunn7 Posts: 152 Rating: (2)	hello all in my OS , when i click on the loop in alarm, it is going to respective page but not showing Tags in runtime. the picture is becoming like no connection to WINCC runtime. in this OS , the project is copied thru WINCC duplication. where as in ES where the project is created there Loop in alram is working correctly. can anybody tell what could be the reason, how to rectify it ??? thanks in advance sun

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi sun7, Try to generate the group display hierarchy again in the Picture Tree Manger - "Calculate the group display hierarchy completely again while saving" in "Options". First uncheck this and save and then check and save again. Regards

What you mean by not showing tags in runtime? In PCS7 when you click on loop-in alarm icon the screen with the tag is opened and the tag gets highlighted. What you mean no connection to WinCC in runtime? And why did you duplicate the project? Why not a simple download from the ES? Regards

AppeltaartD Experienced Member Joined: 9/11/2009 Last visit: 5/11/2023 Posts: 76 Rating: (6)	When the fields are greyed out like that it means there is probably something wrong with your tag connections. Are you sure your application got connection with your PLC? Or maybe a tag prefix issue?

AppeltaartD Experienced Member Joined: 9/11/2009 Last visit: 5/11/2023 Posts: 76 Rating: (6)	I got two questions/remarks that I would like that you look into. 1) The screen your displaying with the loop in alarm funcion, can you navigate to it without using the loop in alarm? If so, do you still get the same result? 2) Do you use tag prefixes in your screens? If so, how do you define those prefixes, are they static or dynamic? If you got dynamic prefixes and normally fill them with a mouse action on a button that loads the screen. If you load the same screen using loop in alarm maybe the tag prefix isn't set? Point 2 might be a bit hard to understand, but if you don't know what a tag prefix is you probably didn't use it. If you could give me some feedback on point 1 maybe I can diagnose a bit more or phantom can help you. Just trying to help out with my little knowledge :)
