Dier Daniel, I have a same configuration as you mentioned in example 1, but it's not working unfortunately. Ihave two masters class 1(S7-314 and S7-315) on one profibus network and two masters class 2 (panel TP170 and WinCC/STEP7 station with CP5611). Originaly was connected only S7-314, TP170 and PC station on the profibus network. Then I prepared wiring and tried to connect also S7-315. The only purpose was archiving of process values on PC station. I prepared the step7 project, compile the netpro and updated the sdb on both CPUs. After I connected the second master (S7-315), the communication between S7-314, TP170and PC stationwas lost. Then I turned on the resistor on TP170 (so the S7-315 is "disconnected") and it work again well, on PC station I can see the values, also on the panel I can see the values. Attached you can find my project. Can you be so kind and give me some advice in this matter. For me it seems as incorrect configuration, but NetPro doesn't show me any mistake. Thanks in advance, best regards Marek Slamka AttachmentMONDIENZYM_2012_01_26_S7.zip (230 Downloads) |

Hello slonik while thereis nothing wrong with your NetPro configuration, it is also not "complete" andonly contains the two S7 PLC's and one "PG/PC" (presumably to representthe WinCC Station). Question is: WhatProfibus address have you asigned to the "missing" TP170 (which isnot integrated into your S7 project and yourproblem can be explained by a simple Node address clash)? |

Dear Fritz, the panel is programmed via ProTool, and projected prifubus ID is "6". So the configuration is follwing: PC has ID=0 CPU315 has ID=2 CPU314 has ID=4 OP has ID=6 On my engineering station I have the OP project integrated in the S7 project. I didn't restart the PC station yet, so there is all the time active S7 connection with profibus partner no. 4. Maybe I should first shutdown the PC station, then connect the second CPU to profibus and again start-up the PC station. Can be the reason for loosing the communication an active S7 connection? I have readed here in forum, that CP5611 is supporting only one S7 connection, official datasheet informs about 8 pcs. of simultaneous S7 connection. PC station is operating according to attached printscreen. AttachmentPC_station_conf.zip (210 Downloads) |

In dchartier response on 10/3/2011 11:41 PM, the link Reading the input data of a DP slave configured by a different DP master returns 404 Not Found. Thanks |
