NCU error with LED 0-1-6

Eddylin Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	NCU: 6FC5357-0BA32-0AE1, 840D, MMC103 NCU can not startup, all the LED is on all the time from power up, 7-segment show 0-1-6 repeatly. I think maybe the data is lost, so i want clear the memory by S3 and S4, but i found, it does not work like what i did before. I do not know what is wrong? The NCU is fault?

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hello.... Remove your NCU battery which is below the NCU box keep it for while i.e 20-30 minutes and then put it back....now try to clear the NC and PLC and check? Check it out and revert back Regards, Ekalavya

Eddylin Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Dear EKALAVYA: Tried as you suggested, but the same. Wheni push reset button,the last led lit in PLC LED side( others always is on), and then still show 0-1-6 in 7-segment. Best regards

I tried to pull out the PCMCIA card and then push in again, then the NCU come to live again! I do not understand what happend? Many thanks again! ThenI can restart my troubleshooting job again. Can you give me some advice again? This 840D system have problem, wheni power up the system, it is all OK, when i press the control voltage on button, the switch before 611D Filter Module often trip, sometime it do not trip, but the led5/6 in 611D E/R power module will be on( red), at that time the voltage in DC like is only 550V, when i reset it in operator panel, the led5/6 will disappear, the voltage in the DC link come to 600V again. then i try run the program, it seemed it is OK. I think it must be hardware fault somewhere, but i'm not sure if must be the power module? The filter module or axis amplifier maybe have problem also.

Eddylin Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	This power moduel: 16/21Kw E/R modul: 6SN1145-1BA01-0BA0 version F and i have anothe machine have this model: 16/21Kw U/E modul: 6SN1145-1BA01-0BA1 version A I' m not sure if that two model can exchangne withoput problem, if yes, i will try that to see what happen? There are too many model in Siemens system, we user can hardly to know what is the difference.
