Reparametrizing a DPV1 slave

damage Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi! I need to reparametrize a DPV1 slave from the user program in runtime.[:cry:] My CPU is a 314C-2 DP. Witch SFC should I use? The SFC 55; SFC57; SFC 58; SFC 59, what kind of the devices work with them? [:mad:] What is the dynamic record and what is the static. Where can I find the definition of them? How can I declare them? Some exaple would be great.[;)]

There you have to use the SFB53 (writing record) or the SFB52 (reading record). The SFCs are made for the communication with DPV0-S7-Slaves. Here the use cases of the "old" SFCs: SFC55 writing a dynamic record DS1 SFC57 writing the all records which are saved for this module with the configuration. SFC58 writing a dynamic record (DS2 and so on) SFC59 reading record dynamic and static record: A dynamic record means that you have to define the data which you want to send to the module. A static record means that you can't define which data you want to send to the module. Using the SFC 57 for example you write data from the SDBs. So they are static. About the declaration of the record: Please have a look at the documentation of your DPV1-Slave. There must be a description of the record. This data structure you have to write in a data buffer of your CPU (i.e. in a DB). Calling the SFB53 at the parameter "record" you give the information, were you have saved your record. A very good description of the SFCs and SFBs is given in the online documentation of STEP 7. Opening the standard library clicking the SFB and then press F1. In the Product Support you will find a lot of documents about DPV1. Maybe this one is interesting for you: Changing from EN50170 to DPV1 Please check whether your CPU is working with DPV1-Slaves. The easiest way is to go online with STEP 7 and have a look whether the SFBs 52 and 53 exist or not. If the exist everything is ok. Sorry, no example but a lot of information I think. For usage of the DPV1 functionality not need any CP and not need configure any connection in the NetPro. Am I right? SFBs 52 and 53 have an input parameter "ID" (dword). How could I determine my slave's ID? How could I find out my slave's reachable record numbers ? The slave is surelly a DPV1-slave. It is supports the DPV1 C1 Read-Write functionality. I see it in the GSD file. It has a "A very good description" to. There is lots of user parameters what I can cofigure with the STEP7 hardware config but I have not any clue about the available record numbers. WBRG DaMage ps: "A very good description of the SFCs and SFBs is given in the online documentation of STEP 7." I' think I wasn't wasting ur time if it really was.[:(]

The "ID" means the logical I/O-Address. This address is defined with your hardwareconfiguration. To decide whether it is an input or output address the bit 15 of the dword is used.
