Dear all, I require immidiate help for RS416 switch module. After I uploaded the New version of firmware and resetted the device, it didnt worked properly and devices ports went unreachable... After I checked i am pretty sure i uploaded the right firmware v5.5.4 but still when i restarted the device by on-off , indication lights on ports are not standing for more than 10 seconds. What could be happen to the device and pls immidiately I need to find a solution ? Thank you ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Are you able to follow the manual, section 4.11, for updating firmware? RUGGEDCOM ROS v5.5 Configuration Manual (siemens.com) How about attempting a downgrade per the instructions right after upgrading firmware? After a system reset, are you able to login to the device? Did you update the firmware for all 3 items as listed in the linked manual? I urge you to call Siemens Support and request assistance. Or, you can use the "Support Request" link in this forums (in the gray bar above the forums pane). Create a new request.

Are there any ways to reset the device to factory defaults by hardware, because I have no ability to connect Via computer because no port is responding... |
