Hi stu, Sancruz is right, a router (Layer 3 functionality) is needed to connect different subnets. However, the SCALANCE XC-200 family (as well as the XF-200G and XP-200) supports some Layer 3 functionality such as VLAN and NAT. In my opinion, it should be possible to configure the switch as a NAT router. Unfortunately, I cannot find an example of how to do this. Maybe examples for other devices like "How do you use a SCALANCE XM-400/ XR-500 as NAT router?" will help. However, this example is a bit older and it is important to know that the XM-400 or XR-500 devices support much more Layer 3 functionality. But it might be worth a try to use this documentation. Kind regards |
