special RJ 45 jack for ITP GP cable ???

sunn7 Posts: 152 Rating: (2)	hi i have many questions today, for this 6XV1 850 0AH10,industrial ethernet ITP GP cable the inside cables are comparatively bigger than other CAT5 cable, so they are not inserting inside RJ 45 jack, does this cable has some special JACKs. and also does it has some special Jack protectors , (i do not what it is called the green one in below picture for prefabricated CAT5 cable) how it is possible to insert the pair cables inside normal RJ 45 jacks. please have look on attachment. i hope somebody will help me thanks a lot in advance sun , (novice to job) Attachment ethernetcable_cmp.pdf (211 Downloads)

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear Sun, well, I guess this is what many do, but there is a slight difference between a Patch Cable like a CAT 5 or CAT 6 like the 6XV1850-* and a ITP cable. For the mentioned ITP Cable you need FC Connectors, I add some pages of the Catalogue for you to get more to know about it. I hope u belong to siemens do you havesome contact in ukriane, i serached in internet, but could not find. do u have any idea wht delivery period?? for me it is really urgent thanks lot sun

If you mention that you have the Plug based upon the IK PI Catalogue they should find it and should figure out if this Plug is available to you.

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello Sun, well... it is surely right that this defined cable is dedicated for Sub-D connectors, but I personally see no reason why you should not be able to use RJ45 Plug’s too, besides maybe the incompatibility of the stripping tool... one thing is sure, you will not receive any warranty about it.
