Hello all,

I use the S7-1500 connected with 2 SEW Inverters MOVIDRIVE MDX61B0014-5A3-4-OT / DER11B / DFE32B. The connection between the inverters and PLC is using Ethernet (Profinet).

The program ran well until then I have to change the Profinet module in one of the Inverter because the old module was broken. After the changing, now I cannot control both of the motors correctly. The first motor movement is always jittering not smooth and the 7-segment display in the SEW Inverter will keep changing between "2" and "A" while the motor is moving.

And for the second motor, there is no movement at all. I have checked the connection of the devices, all are connected with correct IP addresses and Profinet names. Both of the motors can be control by the manual mode in the SEW MotionStudio. 

I think this is a setting problem or even communication problem in TIA-Portal because when I checked the function block of the motor 2, the communication_ok variable from the motor 2 is false (see attachment picture). This function block FC140, I got from SEW which uses the SFC14 and SFC 15.

Does anyone have some ideas how to solve this?  Thank you before for the reply. I am working with TIA Portal V14 SP1,

This document from SEW descibes the startup procedure for both the drive and the Profinet "IO controller (they use a S7-317-2PN/DP in their example, in Simatic Manager). Read chapters 5, 6 and 9.

sorry how to do it? I never do it before. 

What surprised me is, I only change the profinet card, without changing anything on the program side. Moreover the old configuration for the Inverters were already saved and restored back to the new inverter.
