sakir Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, everybody I am using C230-2 with Sinumerik 611U. I have 7 servo axis and 3 Spindles. All servo axis is lineer. I have a question about lineer axis. I want sent to a position with position control mode with tourque limiting. I am using MCC. Swith on torqu limitation command box include Clamping value and unit. Unit is include MOTOR, % and Load side. For example, if i was enter 5 to clamping value and select MOTOR unit combo box. Axis motor is 12 Nm. It's mean this axis will go to position with 5 Nm. torqu. Please, can you explain torqu limiting for me. Thank You. Have nice day.

There you find a description about the set up of torque limiting. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22057029 - The settings “Load side” and “%” works with values related to the load side. In your case you must consider the formula for linear axis. You find the formula in the mentioned FAQ. - With the setting “Motor” can be entered the torque limit, without conversion, directly. - It is important that you set the reference torque (max. torque) of the motor in the configuration data “TypeOfAxis.SetPointDriverInfo.DriveData.maxTorque” (otherwise the evaluation does not fit).
