Hello Everyone,

         I am using User Archives for datalogging in WinCC 7.0 SP3. I want to set trigger event to log data. 

         In tag logging, we have acquisition time column to log data. But, in user archives, I didn't find any option like that. 

         How to do log data on event basis in User archive?

         Ya, but that option only works in Tag logging window. I didn't found that option in User archive window. I have used User archive method for recipe.

         In help, I didn't found time base for acquisition of tag in User archive window. 

         Do you have any document to show above??

sorry for my misunderstanding 

with user archive you can add data using script (see sample in online help screenshot attch)

you can also use control tags (see page312 of this manual).

searching inside the forum you can try wit this sample provideb by Denilson Pegaia....

     This may be a child question, but I am stuck at it. 

      All options are grayed out in user archive. I cannot edit anything in archive. I cannot see properties or runtime data. 

      What option I am missing out here??

got it.

  I deleted backup and extracted original again.

  may be something wrong went while editing backup while testing.

           I am unable to open backup provided in above post of Denilson Pegaia. File format extenstion is in ".7Z.001, .002 and .003 type.

          When I try to open using WinRar, it says file is damaged or corrupt.

          My query is, I want to log data using User archive method after every 500ms or 1 sec. 

          I want to dump data in SQL server for using it to show reports.

I am unable to open backup provided in above post of Denilson Pegaia. File format extenstion is in ".7Z.001, .002 and .003 type.

You must first unzip the 3 part archives in the same folder.
You will then see the 3 part archives:
- project.7z.001
- project.7z.002
- project.7z.003

Then the archive project.7z.001 unpack. Then you get a folder "Project" with the files it contains.

    I forgot to reply, I got backup. 

    But It doesn't work with Winrar, I think.

    I did setup of 7zip and retrieved it without any error.
