Hi Timm, A faceplate offers many more interaction options. The interface allows you to use tags, properties, and events. Inside the faceplate, you can run various events and use scripting. Although dynamic SVG comes with an interface, it only allows you to manipulate the graphic, there is no direction from the graphic to the interface. For graphics I would always use SVG (normal or dynamic once), for photos JPG should be preferred and PNG makes no sense in my opinion as it is good for graphics but needs more memory than SVG. To keep the size of the SVG files as small as possible, I prefer to use SVGOMG. Kind regards |
