Hello, SIMATIC WinCC Unified PC Runtime V18So I'm trying to setup a project that was already worked on in TIA V18. When I try to open it says that I do not have installed "WinCC Advanced / Unified PC V18 Update 1". I now have installed every available for SIMATIC WinCC Unified PC Runtime V18 update, up to update 4 but I still get the error message. When I try to open HMI related files in the project I get the error, that "WinCC Comfort / Unified Comfort V18 Update 1" is missing. Did I install the wrong Update files? But I can't find any other WinCC Unified related update files for V18. I'd really appreaciate your help. Best regards Mats |

Hi Mats, It is always a good idea to install the latest runtime update. However, you should also keep your engineering system (TIA Portal) up to date. In your case, you cannot open the project because it requires at least update 1 of the WinCC Unified engineering software. Installing the latest update 4 should solve your problem. The installed runtime update allows you to change the device version of your WinCC Unified device to V18.0.0.3, which enables some additional features. Kind regards |
