After that, restarted the pc and installed the latest version of PLCSIM V5.4 from the download. Deinstallation was necessary before installing the latest version (also if the latest version is already installed). Maybe this helps. Trial Software SIMATIC S7-PLCSIM V5.4 SP8 including Updates Regards

RubénVW Member Joined: 1/11/2021 Last visit: 1/24/2024 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	If you have already install this version of PLCSim you can just run the PLCSim Setup.exe (...\STEP7_V5.6\InstData\S7-PLCSIM\Media\setup.exe) and make a repair install. I had this problem and it worked to me.

Apparently I'd moved the folder and the directory of the setup.msi folder of the plcsim was changed so the it stopped working properly. I entered as Jacob said and changed the directory, and it worked. Thanks Jacob !
