Hello Experts,

I tried to factory reset KTP 600 Basic Color PN HMI using ProSave as per instructions given in the manual. But my attempts was unsuccessful. The error message is, No connection could be established. Please verify your settings, interfaces, cables, device type etc.

So can you guys help me out in this urgently?

Also i have a query, where i can find Boot option in the HMI? I didnt find any boot option in Control Panel of HMI. So that i boot device directly by cutting its power. Am i doing this right or wrong?

Hello Experts,

New error displayed while attempting factory reset : Could not establish the connection.
With the 'Booting' setting, the HMI device has to be rebooted.

Where i could find this option?

Booting the panel means power on to the panel

Hi, for me it done for KTP600 basic DP ( no Ethernet port)

1 open prosave any version for me V15.1

2 select comm port for RS232 /PPi (RS485) cable I use 57.6 K comm speed

3 open OS update and click on reset for factory setting

4 click on OS update on below

5 ProSave will check connect reset HMI the load 2 file to OP bit take time

6 waiting till process done then you will get back OS system

same problem but cant connet pc-adapter or usb-com cable, can you give more details
i tried the 2 configuration of the dip switchs (0000 for DP/MPI/PPI) (0110 for rs422/485)
