Changing a CS51 Com Board by a CB24 COm Board on a SIMOREG 6RA24 that uses a Technology Board PT10 (6DD3440-0AB0)

Marconi Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I'm updating some S5 cpu's by S7 cpu's. In order to do this I had to change all the communication boards from the SIMOREG drives. The old ones were CS51 and had to be changed to CB24. In normal SIMOREG it worked fine. In the SIMOREG's that use the technology board PT10 (6DD3440-0AB0) the communication failed. Does somebody know if this technological board has to know the type of the communication board that work with it ? If yes, how can I enter this informations at the technology board software ?

Wenn you change a card the Program has to be compiled and burned again. You will habe to find out the used STRUC version and make a new eprom. Maybe you will have to update the STRUC version.
