DC Drive Field circuit failure

Kabeer Posts: 3 Rating: (1)	Dear Sir, Sub: DC Drive Field circuit failure We are using Siemens make DC Drive of following specifications SIMOREG Type: 6RA7031-6DV62-O SlNo: S QU40453320016 Armature- 400V, 125A Field- 200V, 10A Yesterday (13th April 2007) the field circuit MCB of the Drive tripped and then checked the field circuit of the system. We checked the field terminals of the drive and found out filed circuit board shorted. Then System house integrator of Siemens in Bangalore came and they told us that one thyristor and one diode in the field circuit failed and has to be replaced. The System house integrator of Siemens told us that Siemens is off for two days and the problem will be rectified after 5 days. We have warranty for the drive and we are unable to run our ride in our amusement park for 1 week. I heard that Siemens have a 24-hour service wing. Our season started and the guests are more now. As this is a popular ride in our park we want to rectify the problems as soon as possible. ............................
