I do not have any LOGO 8.4 (Hardware), I do have LOGO 8.3.0.2 firmware. I guessing that your Node-Red implementation use Snap7. LOGO 8.4 is a new hardware with different configuration. It could be as simple that you couldn't use LOGO 8.4 hardware with the implementation in Node-Red.

Thats why you have the option to select hardware in LSC. This way you could pick a hardware that Node-Red do support.

I do know that Snap7 use 2 different LOGO hardware and that is the thinking I get when I read your issue. If we invent new hardware we also get new bootloader. I believe that is the case when we select hardware in LSC we get older bootloader when when we download the project to the hardware.

I only guessing here.

Sounds like you have a connection issue as opposed to a vm mapping issue. 

Check your plc IP address and settings in node red and make sure 8.4 settings match on plc

So you get it to work with the new logo 8.4 ? .- i have the pogram perfectly running on 8.3, but as soon i change to 8.4 no connection. Ip settings should be okay, also parameter mapping since it works in the 8.3 version.

Attached is short video where you can see it keeps connection for a second and then disconnects again.
