alindsay Posts: 45 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I wonder if anyone has a block they would like to share that before i create my own. I want the PLC to store the parameters for each motor, when the VSD fails and is replaced it should receive its parameters from the PLC. parameters such as the quick commisioning parameters. In effect the guy changing the VSD should not have to set any parameters Does this make sense, has anyone created such a block ?

JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	This is not possible without any paramaterization on driveside. Atleast the communication parameters should be set on the drive first so that PLC can paramaterize rest of it. It is possible to do it but I do not think there is any standard block for this.
