WithSIMATICS7-PLCSIMAdvanced, digital twins of controllers can be created for simulating S7-1500 and ET200 SP CPUs and used for extensive function simulation. In addition, the TIA Portal project can also be tested and validated in the context of a plant/machine. An extensive API is available for connection to co-simulations for "Software in the Loop" based simulation (SIL).
