totmax Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone. I've got a problem when trying to connect STARTER to 802D SL(sw v1.4) and S120 via ethernet. Yet both RCS and Programming Tool work fine, i.e. hardware connection exists. Can anybody tell me what kind of protocol I have to select for STARTER. May be some special parameters, IP addresses, etc? Regards, Max

Dave Posts: 271 Rating: (29)	Hello Max, I'm not an 802D SL specialist; however, on the HMI keyboard hit the combination "Shift+Alarm" and this will take you to the system screen of the 802D SL. Then hit the button for "Service Conttrol". This will provide you with the IP address and the Subnet address of the 802D SL. Then you need to set your IP address of your PC to a similar IP address but add "1" to it and then you should be able to select the appropriate ethernet device your PC uses to connect up STARTER to your 802D SL via ethernet. Hope this helps...
