does somebody faced such problem ?

we have checked terminal, parameters and no STO/safety enabled. still it is giving such messages.

is there any other issue? any points to observe?

When you go online with the drive in Starter/Startdrive, what problems are you seeing in the Safety Integrated function?

Has this been running for a while and suddenly will not start?  Or, is it newly commissioned and will not start?

And this is 2 year old running drive.

Drives all command controlled through PLC 1200. 

I have checked all blocked of PLC ,all are OK.

And drive does not show any fault.

Only r2-44 occurred 

When power off and again on then it running after some time of running r2 again goes to 44 and no run command  taken

It sounds like the safety integrated function required an E-Stop activation and clear with a period of "after some time" (the default is 80 hours I think).

This is showing in starter software.

I have tried so many things but problem still not solved.

Yes i read all the messaged from begining , and got understood need to do e stop activation.

Is there any procedure for this?, Dear experts , can you guide me ?

And I able to solve this problem with replacing the cu with failed cu parameters , and working fine.

But i need to reset the cu for other drive .

Cu which is locked was running , and there is no safety integration configured , even i done restore defauls also but same status showing at r2- 44.

Actucally,  my drive was  running ,suddently changed to to inhibit , r2= 44,

as per the above conversations , i checked these things, 

1 power module STO dipswitches is off state,

2 there is no safety configuration in the safety integrated tree, checked through online ( starter)

     [DI-4 and DI 5 is used for multi speed]

3 restore to defaults done for the safety settings also , for the whole control unit parameters.

  re commissioning done , then after motor id happens succeeded , cu changing to r2-44 .

4 backup parameters through keypad and downloaded to another cu then its working fine.

I  want to know how to reset this cu to normal, or " E'" activation procedure .

please  advice me to clear this.

The drive power module having a hardware interlock. If your CU was not correctly seated on that slot properly that time the 44: Switching on inhibited - supply STO terminal w/ 24 V (hardware). To correct that issue. Inset that CU correctly.

I had the same problem for S120 drivers. Actually comunication module was working. When I sent start command it was taken start, but  it was not sending to Feedback Frequency (only 0). Then I removed Communication Module and replace it again. It solved.

My problem (r2 = 44) exists yet, And I do many things for starting my motor. But every time that I want to start the motor, the switch on inhibited alarm shows.

I also get this error but on a G120C... There is no separate communication module, there is no separate PM/CU... We got this between Christmas and New Year and we changed out the whole unit. Now we got it again on another one.

There is no safety configured nor has it ever been configured in this project. Of course there have not been any STO terminals wired. You should be able to run this FU without safety, right?

I do not understand is this a bug in the firmware or some strange idea of someone. Or maybe a hardware fault..?

And that every-80-hour reset is even more preposterous... To restart your installation every three days?!? Maybe it's configurable... I haven't looked into that but never the less....

There is no safety to disable as I already said... It has not been enabled.
The maximum restart monitor time is 9999 hours. And what does this mean? You cannot have plants that run constantly for 400+ days without a stop with a Siemens drive? I strongly doubt that.

Next week I will receive the frequency converters from the client and I will fiddle with them locally. I will enable safety and then try to activate the E-stop and see it if reacts in some way. Maybe update the firmware because it's 4.7.10 currently in the drives.
There MUST be a way to run these drives without safety at all... It has been before and it has to be a way now!

I had the same issue with a Sinamics G120C.

My solution was to wire digital inputs number 4 and 5 with the 24V output of the CU. Commissioning the driver with this inputs as F DI, turn it completely off and then checked that the drive was ready to run. 

After that i started a comissioning wizard turning off the safety integrated, removed the digital inputs wiring, reboot again the whole drive, and the problem was solved.

Edit: (I didn't try but maybe before doing all this, try to reboot the drive)
