However pl remember that native communication port of MM440 is a RS-485 port. So you would need a USB/RS232 to RS485 convertor. Alternatively if you have a Profibus card plugged in on the Drive, you can establish a link over Profibus also. Regards Navnag

If i need to upload/download my parameters (using drivemon/starter) should i need to change some parameters in the drive??? coz, when i tried uploading from one drive, it worked fine. But when i tried uploading another with same specification it had shown "Error in Identifying the Device". i think there must some initial settings required. If i need to change some parameters inside the drive before starting upload/download please share with me... RBM

( Inhibit ) Also if you use Profibus please ensure you have the correct profibus adress selected fo the Drive you are trying to reach. You should be able to see all Drives and their Adress in the Naviagtor Pane of Starter or Drivemon.
