Hello Tussshar; The "normal" way of communicating between a S7-400 and a MM440 drive is Profibus-DP; it is certainly the easiest, although there might be some issues with a softwareredundant system, There have been some discussions here o the subject, and ui this thread Pelectrion proposes some code for USS that you might find useful: https://www.automation.siemens.com/tf/WW/en/Posts/11682 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
