840dI CONTROLLED MACHINE 611a DRIVE all axis have error 7

After power up when axis command is given, error 7 is shown in module. This is for all axes X Y Z B Q. It was strange all axes control card cannot be faulty at same time. Tried to change power sequence but the result is same. Machine was down for a month. When we checked in some websites it is given, memory module may be problem. Can anyone suggest what the problem is? The system is 840Di Sl & ADI4 card is used for drive setpoint and Scale feedback (Direct measuring system). Thank you.

nulizhang Platinum Expert Joined: 10/17/2007 Last visit: 9/15/2025 Posts: 4452 Rating: (402)	Actually I want to suggest you post a new topic to SINUMERIK , USING TITLE: " 840dI CONTROLLED MACHINE 611a DRIVE all axis have error "7" I attached manual for SIMODIVE 611A, You can read section VS/xxx/. try test drive yourself , tips , release some axis motor from mechanical --free the motor. then enable 63, 64, 48 ,112 (connect to Ter. 9 (internal DC24V) then CONNECT 65,663 on 611A card, using battery conic 56/14 to see motor can run. also if you need help you need provide detail of the machine--what is happen for the month JEYAPRAKASH SP We are facing issue in one of our machine with simodrive 611A. PISCEAN 2010 Diamond Expert Joined: 4/23/2010 Last visit: 11/23/2024 Posts: 8092 Rating: (883)	Hello JEYAPRAKASH SP, If during power down of analog drive if power supply is interrupted then in such case data could not be saved successfully & F-07 alarm pops up during next power ON. Try to restart drive by setting p52=1 i.e. restart with data save mode. If it could not help, try to restore data from external device. Hope this helps.

Following is my configuration.. System : 840Di SL with ADI4 Card (Setpoint & Scale Feedback System) 611A Control Card 6SN1118-0AA11-0AA0 LT Module: 6SN1123-1AA00-0DA0 (80Amp) Control card is analog with Parameter board 6SN1114-0AA01-0AA0 We replaced E/R module, LT Module, Control Card & also parameter board. When analog setpoint is given in 14&56 & pulse & control enable from plc is ON, immediately error '7' lights up in Control card. Motor removed and kept. All connections checked. (Tacho Feedback, Power Cable) etc... What may be the issue.

We replaced that control card. In this case during boot-up it seems to be ok. But when Control enable is given along with analog setpoint then only error 7 appears.

Parameter board for motor selection & tacho, gain, drift setting.
