Can not connect SIMATIC WINCC V8.0 to SIMATIC S7-1500

We found in WINCC 8.0, when activating the project we found nothing in the "Status of Driver Connection" as below pictures. Could you please help us to solve the problem?

But in SIMATIC WINCC V8.0, we cannot find any connection when click on “Status of Driver connection” rutime the project, it seem the problem from WINCC side.

Now when i install the Upd8 for WINCC V8.0 then it has this option, but the connection is still not successful.

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 9/3/2025 Posts: 16306 Rating: (1930)	Hello Hero_ac Even if you have deactivated the Secure HMI communication in the PLC you MUST use the scada Export tool !!!!!! It will not work if you do not use it at least to import the certificate. It is easy to keep in mind, if you have WinCC V7.5SP2 Upd4 or newer, then you MUST use the SCADA Export tool to get the Certificate. It is a must, and it do not depend if you have activated the Secure HMI communication or not. Also habe a look in the Channel Diagnosis Tool on WinCC while RT is running, perhaps you find a few more detail information also. Accesspoint in Channel Configuration has to be correct and in PGPC Interface you have to set this Access Point to your networkcard.TCPIP.1 Have also a look at this FAQ: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/101908495 Bye Murof
