Encoder drive-cliq with Profinet

eltiu Advanced Member Joined: 9/10/2009 Last visit: 8/12/2025 Posts: 68 Rating: (0)	Hello: My customer has an encoder, ref 6FX2001-5VD13-1AA0, this is an absloute encoder singleturn with DriveCliq. Now, we have a new motion system, wth Sinamics S210 controlled by S71514SP TF-2PN, and I would like to know if there is any component to connect the encoder to the CPU, something like a "Drive-cliq to Profinet" converter. I think that maybe is not interesting at all because the price, but I need an answer and I'm not sure of how to do it. Best regards.

Hardware: 2nd encoder interface (supported from firmware V6.3) Rotary DRIVE-CLiQ encoders can now be connected to the 2nd encoder interface as a direct measuring system.
