The PN Encoder, did you already assign the PN name and PN IP address to the device so that it matches your hardware configuration for the encoder?

For the anybus device, did you already name that gateway the same as in your project's hardware config, similar to the encoder's PN name/ip config?

If so, how did you generate the telegram interface and import it into TIA Portal?  Some custom application by Anybus that provided a single GSDML for each PB device connected to the gateway, or 1 GSDML for all PB devices connected to the PN/PB gateway?

Hi,

I have been trying to connect profinet encoder and profinet/profibus gateway to 1215C PLC, but this error is stubbornly repating.

Details are in the attachment, what could be the reason for this (I was using Anybuses video and pdf as guidance)?

In TIA Portal's "Online Access" area (below your project), expand it and navigate down to the network adapter you are using to communicate with your PLC.

Find "Update...." and double-click it.

Post a screenshot of the devices there.

You will then see the currently assigned PN name and IP for every device on that network.

Now expand the encoder in your project so it shows the device name and PN IP.

Post a screenshot of that.

 I am not sure is it necessary to install both profinet GSDML and Profibus GSD files for this gateway in TIA Portal. In second pdf you can find gateway's IP and other settings I made using Anybus apllications. I deleted encoder, only gateway is still present, but I didn't figure out how to fix the problem.
