In this case you will not have option for "station" and you can use any COM port as "Interface". It seems that you tried to import connection from Step-7 and change it to modbus. Please, use "Insert->New Object - Connection" and the do what I said above. Good luck. Darius,

Thijs Posts: 121 Rating: (16)	Keep in mind for the new MP panels Siemens has dropped the serial interface. The PC677 still has 1 serial interface. If you select the modbus protocol the interface should be the serial port off the PC677. I don't know whitch one it is, I think you should check it in the windows hardware manager
