Do not understand why is the RLO at JC statement "1", because it should be, by the book, "0" because at the start of the program the MW 10 is 0 so the "is equal" statement does not set RLO to "1" and therfore the RLO at JC shoul be "0". When I test the program MW12 immediately gets the loaded value, before the condition is fulfiled. Please check the printscreen I attached! Attachment picture.JPG (1330 Downloads)

Online monitoring shows RLO status for operation after operation, not before, so jump is executed on the RLO status from ==I operation.

mirchy Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	A definition from STL List for S7-300/S7-400 manual: JC; Instruction interrupt the flow of logic in your program based on the result of logic operation (RLO) produced by the previous instruction statement. ==I; if the contents of the low -order word of ACCU2 is equal to low -order word of ACCU1 the RLO is "1" So in my case at the start of the program the value in counter is 0 so after the transfer to MW10 it cannot be equal to 10, so by my modesty logic the RLO stays 0, and the JC operation should not be done. I hope I'm not repeating my self. Thanks GrzegorG.

GrzegorzG Posts: 63 Rating: (19)	In your screenshot JC operation is not done, but jump destination is is the next command after JC, so the program is executed the same way even RLO before JC changes from 0 to 1. Put some instructions between JC command and its destination (Label) and observe reaction for changes of RLO before JC.

Try this code at first L MW10 L 123 ==I JC end L 4523 T MW10 end: NOP 0 You will see, that if you write some number in MW10 it will be rewritten by 4523. But if you write 123 it would stay. If your case i guess it should look like L C 10 L MW10 ==I JCN nxt0 //execute some code when C10=MW10 ..... nxt0: NOP 0 //execute following always I hope it would clarify everything:^)
