Hi, you don't mention if this unit is fed from AC or DC. Please supply a drive part number/parameter download file (if possible) If it is AC fed, check the connections are tight to the unit and no arcing is occurring on one of the phases. Also, there are no discrete thyristors and firing card in a Compact plus unit, the semiconductors are usually all contained in one pack bolted to the heatsink. There is no rectifier section in a DC fed unit. I have attached a trace settings file for you to try, simply load the trace application and load this file, it will trace speed and DC bus volts, just ramp the drive up past the 23Hz figure you quoted and make sure the drive trips as this is the trigger to start the trace. You can post the results file back here, or a screenshot. I am guessing that the problem could actually be ripple on the DC bus, possibly caused by the drive itself. There may be a need for an input filter, but hopefully this trace will show any noise/ripple on the DC supply. Also, please describe a little about the application, the more information people provide helps a lot more. Regards, Graeme
