Ahmad Magdy Experienced Member Joined: 7/3/2014 Last visit: 10/31/2024 Posts: 16 Rating: (2)	If I'm not mistaken I think you are asking about the max number of modules can be put beside the S7-300 CPU's If this is your question,Then If you're working as a Centralized Peripheral configuration and using IM 360 & IM 361 the max number of modules could be used in a single rack is (8) modules of any kind (i.e DI, DO, AI, AO, CP and FM) putting into consideration that the max number of racks is 4 racks (one Central and 3 Expansion racks). But if you are working as Decentralized Peripheral configuration (Distributed I\O) then you can use IM 153-2 HF and at this case (12) Modules could be used for each rack.
