meaning of segment

nnmmss Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	i was reading the archive document, the part that i have attached. the question is that what doesn data buffer means here? doesit mean the part of memory? how about segment? i cann't understand this part so i cann't understand the section of property of Taglogging SLow /Fast (in Taglogging---Archive COnfiguration), by changing the archive size which part will be effectted? nnmmss Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	well I changed following value: Time Period of all segment : 2 Hours Max Size of all segment: 100 MB period of time covered by a single segment: 1 Hour Max size of a single size: 50 MB and after restarting all above databased were deleted except the last 2 of them. PAS_FS1_HMI_TLG_F_200710270730_200710270735 PAS_FS1_HMI_TLG_F_200710270738 (well i think i have missplled the name of the databases) conserning to 200710270730_200710270735 , it means, it olny has kept data for 5 minutes? is that what it says? sorry but i think i have get confused with those databases stuff. Thanks
