Missing digital input pulses.

mikesmixes Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I am trying to capture digital input pulses from a scale. The pulse width ON is 300ms and off duration varies from 500ms upwards. I am using a 6ES7 321-7BH01-0AB0 24V Interrupt Digital Input card and the AS is a 416-3 The couner in the cfc is running in OB35 (100ms) and I have assigned PIP1 to OB35 aswell. The problem is that the counter in the cfc is not corresponding to that on the scale. I am missing around 20 pulses per 100 pulses. I know it has to do with scan times because at low flowrates, the pulses are almost identical but differ at higher input frequencies. I tried to assign the PIP of the card to a faster OB but then the CPU gave errors of exceeding overall OB length.
