PLC and HMI communication error...

Before I was able to communicate and check my PLC and HMI program in simulation mode.But now suddenly I am getting a message in HMI when I start runtime as "connection disconnected" Please see attached screenshot. i didn't change any setting but still gettibg this... Hi, that is the reason... if you choose in simulator the tcp/ip communication (now it's MPI) after the connection will work... Zenta

Could you please explain me thanks a lot Rahil The Step7 use the pg/pc interface for communicate with PLC or PLCSIM. The WinCC Flexible Simulator use the configured line, in this case TCP/IP. The PLCSIM work with only one interface at the same time. MPI or TCP/IP. If you want use WinCC Flexible simulatos, and programing, you must choose the TCP/IP in simulator, and in the PG/PC interface..... Regards Zenta
