I am unable to open your attached file in V15 or V14.  Could you please upload given file in V13 SP1 or higher?

See the attached ZIP file for the project in Step7 V15.

 For future reference:
The original / previous ZIP file contains a ZAP13 file.
This file can be opened by Step7 V15 when using the "Retrieve" function in the Menu.

As alternative.. The free application "7ZIP" is able to retrieve the files
that is archived in a ZAPxxx extension file.

Just one more favor from you.  Could you please go through attached project, a small project for stone crushing plant which has 1 big crushing machine and 10-15 conveyors.  This plant I commissioned before 2 years.

I just need your valuable comments to help me improve my programming skills.  I literally hate the way I program PLC.  Even an Electrician perhaps would be able to program like this.  Your comments will be useful for me.

No problem Sir, I can understand.

This machine is crushing stones fed from mountains (after blasting) followed by different conveyors and screens which separates crushed material according to their sizes.  This separation process is purely mechanical.  Only the main Crusher (here 220kw motor) is the First in the line to start and then conveyors one after the other in sequence.

In auto mode, operator activates Siren for about 30 seconds to alarm everyone outside that machine will start in auto mode.  And then after successful running of main Crusher motor, all other conveyors/vibrators start in sequence with certain time delay.  

Now in auto mode only, If someone presses STOP pushbutton of any of the conveyors OR any conveyor trips; then all other conveyors following this particular conveyor will also turn off.  This is required because, let's say if 5th conveyor in the line trips, and the previous conveyor 4th here, is not stopped then all the crushed aggregate will accumulate near 5th conveyor.  And that's why to detect which conveyor is tripped, I used Negative edge of every conveyor and RESET auto cycle.

Proper constructive criticism is hard work. Going through someone else's work is an interactive 1:1 session when I do it. The student gets the opportunity to explain what his thinking was. This way of working is not possible.

Anyone commenting on your project would have difficulty if they do not understand how the plant layout looks like and what the functionings are.

The symbols in your program is based on electrical drawings which means one has to deeply study the electrical drawings. This can be bridged by making FC/FB code with input and output parameters. Those parameters has symbols which is simple to follow for someone who knows the functionality but not the electrical drawings. The actual inputs and outputs connects to the in/out pins of the FC/FB.

There are many usages of edge triggers. This makes me uncomfortable. Normally my students did not follow sequencing program techniques when doing things like that.

Saying more would be needing a deep study which I am not volunteering to do. Someone else might but some explanation of what the program does, would be helpful.
