Hi everyone,

I have a 4065 error in a Sinumerik840 DI and I cannot reset it with a reset or clearing messages. I tried to search on web and I found this path: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/42578238/sinumerik-840di-840di-sl%3A-alarm-4065?dti=0&pnid=14595&lc=en-WW

But i could not find the exact path but only "Acknowl. MMC alarm" or "SQ" under Diagnosis menu (see attachment on right side) but these doesn't work and the error is still here. What I'm missing?

The problem was a "Write param protect" flag to enable to see the "NC/PLC Diagnosis" menu option, and then I found the path to ack that error.

Start-up > NC/PLC Diagnosis > Vertical softkey “>>” > Vertical softkey “Acknowledge Alarm 4065,”

I don't know if this write param is a standard flag or a custom inserted by the machine manufacturer, in my case Star.

 Thanks you, I found that message, but the problem in my case the menu item was hidden by a "write protection" flag.

Hi , could you please describe how to enable the entry into PLC/NC diagnosis? 

what I need to do ? I have the same alarm and I'm not able to get into sequence:

Start-up > NC/PLC Diagnosis >
Vertical softkey “>>” > Vertical softkey “Acknowledge Alarm 4065,”

Hi to all who will need it , I solved alarm 4065 by this :

1.Start of Sinumerik system ,

2.press button "3"  in a time when a number of software version

   appears on the screen ( right bottom part of screen)  V xxxxxxx

3 . go into clasic windows screen via password "SUNRISE"

4. click on 840Di start-up icon

5. go into Edit

6. ackonwledge 4065 alarm
