Hi, I am using a diesel generator with s120 drives to run a 10kw motor. I am using a line filter with a Active Line Module both 16kw. Once I want to start the motor I get this Fault 6200. I by passed the line filter and run the motor perfectly fine. When I tried a new line filter I still have the same fault. Any advice would be much appreciated. I use the same set up with the supply from the grid and it works perfectly fine its just when the diesel generator is connected to the drives. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello SamAGE, How diesel generator load regulation is controlled? Normally out put supply quality from diesel generator is not good, i.e. it has lot of voltage fluctuations, dips, unbalance, frequency variation etc. etc. I suggest you to conduct power supply quality analysis of your diesel generator if at all it is necessary to run Sinamics on diesel generator. Long run of Sinamics on poor quality power supply may affect the life/performance of ALM. For your ready reference, please refer attached page which provides detail information of permissible supply conditions for operation of Sinamics. Hope this helps. |
