S7-200 Wonderware Incontrol

KevinN Posts: 41 Rating: (3)	Hi all, First post here and I am sitting with a bit of a problem. I need to program my CPU222 using Wonderware Incontrol. I only have the USB / PPI Multimaster Cable (6ES7 901-3DB30-0XA0). So far I have not had much luck doing this as most guides assume you have the ethernet module for the PLC. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

KevinN Posts: 41 Rating: (3)	I definately know that the Microwin is the best option, however I need to use wonderware at the moment as the course notes etc are all set up for wonderware Currently,I do not have enough time before the new year to change it over to Microwin There are ways of doing it, however using theUSB PPI seems out of the question without purchasing additional software. Thanks

Maybe you have no driver installed and that is the reason why wonderware don't work. Have you a serial PPI cable you can try? Also a PC-Adapter USB is possible. Or a CP5512. Anyway, also try to contact Wonderware support. I don't think that Siemens can help you in this case because of a non-siemens product.

As for the driver, I think all is installed correctly as I program fine using Microwin. Hopefully Wonderware will contact me again today. I will let you know if any more progress has been made.
