S7314 CPU Input Issue

JasonBetbet Regular Member Joined: 10/13/2016 Last visit: 6/13/2025 Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	Hi all, This is my 1st time to use Siemen s7-314 2DP. I found a problem here and need help from you all. The CPU input address is start from I124.0, I124.1...... i had connected to selector switch and energize those inputs, the CPU input LED got light on, but when I online and view my ladder programming, the inputs are no reaction. Others linking input cards are no problem, only those inputs which with PLC got this kind of issue. What should I do? Can provide a help? Thanks.

If the input LED changes status with the value of yourswitch, then it would seem that your are connected correctly, electrically speaking. So, how do you monitor the input? Do you sue a VAT table (monitor table) in Step 7, and put that address (I124.0, for example) in the table, then activate the monitoring function? or did you progam a simple line of ladder, placed in OB1 (or another fuinction, say FC1, that you then call in OB1), that you then try to monitor? Please show us a screencapture of the problem you see, we may be able to help with better information. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier Sorry Daniel, rushing few projects here and come back reply late. we had try programming on OB and also can't solve the problems, the input status also no change even input from selector switch is changing. Here our hardware configuration arrangement also no problems, others extension input card are no problem and online status will change. Only the inputs which with the CPU got problem.
