Dear All, I'm trying to connect TP 1200 Siemens HMI with the existing profinet ring. I followed the below steps, i) I configured the HMI IP, Subnet ii) Profinet device name iii) Assigned that device as MRP Client Because The profinet network is in MRP configuration. I did all these things using TIA V 13 SP1, And, Its was asked for Master MRP master assignment in the same topology. So, I added my S7-CPU with all racks. Assigned the same IPs. Then, Made the S7 connection between the CP card and HMI.My CP card working as Profinet Master. iv) Downloaded the Project to the HMI I'm using PCS 7 V8.1. Our CPU program developed on this platform. So, I wanted to assign that HMI as MRP Client in the Hardware configuration. I followed the below steps... i) Imported GSD file to catalog ii) Added the GSD file to my existing MRP ring profinet domain... This profinet domain established in CP 443-1. All the Remaining nodes already detected in Hardware config... iii) Assigned the Right IP address, Profinet name iv) Downloaded the Hardware configuration to CPU When I do monitoring in online, the HMI showing cross mark with diagnostics of "Device configured. but, not available". I couldn't understand what problem is it !!! But, I Connected the Profinet cable directly to my laptop. And, verified the Accessible nodes, Edit Ethernet nodes there the HMI device is available with the same IP and Profinet Name. So, Kindly suggest me what will be the problem ??? I have added the Photocopy took from online of Hardware configuration. And My Hardware is S7 CPU 417-4 Also, Having CP card 443-1 for MRP based PROFINET communication. Number of Nodes as the client in the network: 16 ( ET 200 IM, Scalance) AttachmentHMI Issue with S7400.zip (441 Downloads) |

Hello Developers, Actually, still, my problem was not resolved. Today I checked it in a different way. I Connected the HMI as a single node in the profinet network with one CP 443-1 card. I Only assigned Profinet name and IP address. I didn't assign MRP configuration property. But, till now it's not detected in the Hardware configuration of PCS7. When I read the Diagnostic details of CP card it's showing that an HMI unit is connected in the P1 port as a Neighbor node (With the name I assigned) But, The HMI GSD File always showing Red cross over it in online. Kindly Have a look at attached pictures. It's having information about... i) How did I have made an assignment on HMI hardware, The CP card Diagnostics information. Any needful help will be appreciatable since its new topic. AttachmentHMI_In_Separate profinet ring.zip (360 Downloads) |

Dear Sanakiyen, I suspect it might relate to one of my previous issues. Read information from another PLC system through DP coupler I edited the picture with my comments. Suspect Input word of the PLC needs to be matching with the output word of HMI (Vice versa) Hope these helpful for you. |
