Dear All,

In my system, it has a SM332 AO module,6ES7 332-5HF00-0AB0. It is used to control a modulating valve in a chiller plant. 

The Control Type is: 0-10V.

Recently, the control port for this AO is out of function. The port cannot output any volt to control the valve. Luckily, one more spare AO port is in my module. After I re-connect and update the AO function in step7, I can control the valve finally.

But, I would like to ask how can I know the AO Port is damaged. There are "Module available and ok" in the hardware configure monitoring. I think the port is damaged by the modulating valve re-wiring during my client maintenance work. However, how can I check it out? The AO port is really out of function, but the hardware configure monitoring is shown ok.

sry I missed important info about testing AO value with multimeter.

My cause 

1 PQW 288 OK

2 PQW 290 OK

3 PQW 292 OK

4 PQW 294 OK

5 PQW 296 OK

6 PQW 298 OK

7 PQW 300 NO Voltage output

8 PQW 302 NO Voltage output

All program is ok. There are no voltage output in the PQW 300 and 302 by using the multimeter.

But, the hardware configure said the AO module is ok

did you look how to wire outputs in system manual? Also you can try wire and select current output to check functionality of channels, but hint is in attachment, look at it.
