Hi.
Im working with Wincc V8.1 server/ client project. In my client pc( runs on VMWare machine) im unable to connect to tag logging archive. It gives out message on trend connection icon on right bottom trend control window "No data connection could be established" unless i add to tag mane, for example: PC_name::Fast\KKS.MV. Everything else works, but user archive don't. Anyone got any ideas?

perhaps some configuration of the Server/Client systems are not set up correctly.

Use this checklists:

Then you could also try to renew the dcf file and Serverpackage:

Then check also in the client Startup list if you have activated all you need.

Do you use Clients with an own project or Clients without an own project?

 In client pc im accesing project through network. Client does not have its own project.
dcf file is updated

It is a new thing in the update where you need the full path.

In custom controls of your trend you also need to activate "ConsiderTagPrefix". Important. Otherwise your manual selections of tags when in trend configuration won't take the server prefix.
