List Posts: 664 Rating: (18)	Hi All, I have read on variable $A_DBB [1024],in a part program, I have read its description, its saying "Array variable $A_DBB[n] is used to read and write a data byte (8 bits) from PLC." Which data can compare, m area,I/Q area,V area? How can i assign these area for accessing? Please help.. Thanks,

electro_genes Posts: 20 Rating: (0)	$A_DBB[x] (byte value), $A_DBW[x] (integer value), $A_DBD[x] (dint value), $A_DBR[x] (real value) are variables used to exchange data between PLC and NCK x from 1 to 1024. on the PLC side, you must use FC21 to read values coming the NCK program (eg $A_DBR[12]=3.5678) or to send values from PLC to NCK program (eg R18=$A_DBD[33]) have alook @ FC21 call (FB1 manual) good luck E

I use Google to translate and get this "Is there a list of system variables? Where to find it?" and my answer is you can find that list in "SINUMERIK Programming Guide --Advanced (PGA), in the last part of manual --see attachment, chapter 15.2 if you cannot download from here try to Google it Gonçalo Souza Existe uma lista de variáveis do sistema? PISCEAN 2010 Posts: 8092 Rating: (884)	Ivan Davila s [snip] Hello Ivan Davila, FC 21 transfers 98 Bytes from PLC DB210.DBX0.0 i.e. DB210.DBB0.... DB210.DBB97 to NC $A_DBB[0].... $A_DBB[97] when M10.6 bit is high. Hope this helps.
