Juansax Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Clau Hello, Please help mesolvethe following problem: I have WinCC flexible 2008 (V1.3) installed on my PC (Windows Vista)and I can not communicate with an S7 200 PLC (CPU 224). I have tried with RS232 / PPI cable, USB / PPI cableand USB PC adapter (MPI) without any success. I have no problem in communicating (downloading and monitoring the CPU) with S7-200 fromMicroWIN, which is installed on the same computer using the same PPI cables. I would appreciate any help and sugestions about how to solve this problem and get the communication up and running between the PC and S200. P.S. How can I check the connection statusin WinCC flexible? Regards, Claudiu Hello everybody, I have the same problem with PPI/RS232 cable version 3 but there is some curious. This problem occurwith WinCC flexible 2008, notwith WinCC Flexible 2005 SP1whenit communicatesprefectly withS7-200 PLC. The problem is that Ineed to use the PPI/RS232 cable but I have the program in 2008 version and the option to save in old version doesn't appear. Can anybody help me? Thanks

Don't remember exactly where to disable this feature, but you can allways google for it and will find. Try it. Possible it could help. Furthermore, I have a lot of discussions with automation engineers and they are very carefully when choosing Vista system for automation tasks. The same is for me. I know sometimes you just can't choose .
