Bibounours Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone, i'm internship this month and i'm working on a Siemens op-7 project. I have a S7 station and it has to be connected to a slave OP and i have to test the communication between this CPU and this OPs continually, and if an error appears(unplug the PROFIBUS cable, connection error) i have to know it to show an alert screen. I read a bit on documents and i read some good usefull things in OB86, but i don't know how to read the TEMP datas from it. I searched some stuff on this OB but nothing is really clear, that's why i'm asking for help! Maybe there is another way to control this connection; Best regards!

Bibounours Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	These solutions could work but my Specifications for this work are very strict: I'm working on S7-315-2DP CPU with Step7 and i have to test communication between all OP x7 series (7,17,27,37),I have WinCC and ProTools and i think i will have to use the OB86 because the "Latency" of Cyclic Mementos are not enough. The alert must appears when the first error, from any type, appears. For example if a very very short cut appears,from any source, it may be electric of not, it has to be known and alerted, and i'm not sure that the 100ms cycle will be enough for example. I don't know if you understand, but i'm available for questions. So if you know how extract informations from this OB86 to insert a direct alert! Thank you for responses, best regards!
