It is important that both projects are saved under the same version of TIA. So if you open an V11 program in TIA V12, you will have to save it as V12 prior to being able to copy/paste it.

Have a nice day Leonardo Hi Leonardo, easiest way tot do this is open two instances of TiA portal, go to the first instance and right click copy the function (source), then go to your second instance and right click paste on program blocks (destination). William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1204)	As alternative.. Copy the data (FC / FB / DB / ..) into a global library. From the library the data can be extracted to another project. Please see attached JPG for a small sample of detail. w Attachment Copy FB to library.jpg (426 Downloads)

Best regards Hello Leonardo, that's weird, what about dragging it from one instance to the other? It should give you a popup which tell you the project data is synchronizing. Are you getting an error while copying? Can you show us a screenshot of your two instances open? Maybe indicate on the screenshot with some arrows what you are doing, you can easily do that in paint, it doesn't have to be a work of art. I hope we can help you resolve this. Kind regards, Jens

Best regards Is it possible your original project is V11 which puts V12 into compatibility mode? If so, then upgrade your V11 project to V12, then copy the FC using previous suggestions.
